The Soviet Machines are a garage rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota formed in 2006. After several independent releases, the band went on hiatus in 2009. In early 2020, members Marcus Jones, Jack Swagger and Rich Salsbury reformed the group and are currently working with legendary producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Afghan Whigs) on a new album slated for a late 2020 release.
